In 2006, Castelli engineered the first aero jersey for road racing, called “The Split Second”. They were considered crazy, since aero was accepted only for Time Trialists. The speed gains proved to be substantial, and because of that Castelli revolutionized the look of the pro cycling peloton. Performance clothing was transformed.

This is now the sixth major edit of the Castelli aero jersey. Each release more aero and form fitting.
